Below is a list of all the novels that have won the Nebula Award for best novel. When creating this list I noticed that I am familiar with some of the authors here, including some of whose works I have not read. Another interesting point is whether a given author won the award more than once and how long has passed between each time. Lastly, I am somewhat surprised that Robert A. Heinlein has not one any Nebula Awards, I guess he was too busy winning the Hugo awards.
I have previously read several of the novels on the list and at this time I will not be reading them again. I may decide to go back and re-read the ones on the list after I have finished all the others. We will see.
At first, I wanted to read the novels in order from oldest winner to most recent. However, this is not going to work in practice, though, I will still try to do so as much as I can. I prefer audiobooks over print or ebooks, as it is easier for me to consume books this way, and a lot of these novels have not gotten the audiobook treatment and so I will often skip novels because there are no audiobook versions that I was able to get my hands on. Otherwise, I will be reading the books manually. Which might take some time as I am currently in the middle of reading the 'Ware' Tetralogy by Rudy Rucker. In fact, you can get an ebook version of it from his website which was released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivative License. I am currently half-way through the second novel of the series, Wetware, and will definitely post a review of the series upon completion. I will be reading these novels in two formats, so I will be able to read two novels in parallel.
